new to nebraska board

Hey Nebraska Gang! I recently moved back to nebraska after living in Minnesota for 5 years. I had my surgery May 28th right before I moved back home. I've checked in on this board a few times and its always dead....so lets liven things up! My name is Shelby, I'm from Bloomfield (by Norfolk), i've lost 46lbs and am 24 years old. My name is Nick Shimmel. Iam from southeast Nebraska. I am approximately 4 months postop and have lost 135 pounds. Things are going great. I know that this post is always dead because I check it almost everyday. Maybe it can be livened up.

Hi Nick! I was glad to see your response. Wow! 135lbs, thats awesome. You should post a picture, it would be fun to see it fall off of ya. I don't know how to liven the board up? any ideas? the mn board is completely the opposite. tons of posts everyday and people to help you out with questions. Well keep up the good work. Hi Shelby, I am pre-op and starting the wave of nerves and self doubt because bluntly I am only scared of dying and complications. I really wish this board would have more activity. Maybe we should divide NE peers list and send each one an email or something to use this feature to inspire, learn, teach, entertain...etc. Maybe then people would talk with one another. What made you move back to Nebraska? Which surgery did you have? I hope to hear from you and many others Cindi

Hi Cindi! I am "pre-op" also. Still haven't even decided what to have done yet. I agree with you, fear of dying/complications is holding me back. What MD have you chosen? What procedure? Sheryl/Omaha
