I am hoping to have surgery and shave 150 lbs at least off of this frame of mine so you are an inspiration to me. Woohooo and hello Latricia, Wow, you don't know how excited I am to see that there are a few others out there to talk too...It doesn't look as if many people do use this board as much as the main board, but thank you for answering. Congrats on getting all of your tests done and I know you will hear good news soon. Although you have to let me know how things go because you are the first person I have run across that has the same insurance as I do, so I am crossing my fingers and praying for a speedy answer for you. Hello Wendy... Nice to meet you and thanks for answering my post. Congrats on your weight loss so far, you are doing awesome. I am seeing a surgeon here in Lincoln(he is the only one here that I know of), but wondering if I wouldn't be better off looking into some of the ones there in Omaha. We are waiting to see if my husband is going to be transferred back to that area also so I will still keep on chugging along researching and talking to those that are willing to listen...lol Thanks again for answering and please keep in touch. Glad to see other Nebraskans! I am 6-months post-op (Lap rouxen-Y) and am down about 87 pounds. I infrequently attend the UNMC support group and find it...well...not that helpful. Does anyone have others to recommend? Thanks! Sue K. Dr. Thompson 1/26/04
