Hi, My name is Gloria and I live in Omaha,NE. I have been reading the posts on this and a couple of other groups since Dec 2003. I am having surgery with Dr. Gary Anthone on May 4th. It has been a whirlwind week since on Monday I talked to the insurance company and on Wed they approved my surgery. Its a long story and a miracle that it is happening. I am so excited and a little frightened. I just needed to tell someone. Also we are moving June 1st, and again in July when our house being built is finished. Hi Gloria! I also live in Omaha NE and see Dr Anthone! I have so many questions and was hoping to find someone who has already been thru the type of surgery he does. My sister has done the roux-en-y but I think she didn't have the DS. I don't understand it all just yet. It would be great if we could email one another and keep up to date.
