Has anyone tried to get approved since the first of the year? Just wondering if it will do any good to try to fight this ins. co. There is an exclusion on for obesity but does not state morbid obesity. Am wondering if maybe there's a loophole there.

Go for it! We need people to fight this with bcbs, they aproved mine last year without any questions, I had to jump through a few hoops, but it was all very easy. I would think that the morbid obesety would make a huge dfferance. Good luck! Chris in Beatrice, 305/158/goal to stay in the 150's forever!

I thought that Dr. Hung said that some BCBS policies were covering it. I wonder if the "morbid obesity" could be a loop hole. Have you heard about www.obesitylaw.com? They specialize in fighting. Good Luck!

I was approved in the end of January or the begining of February, I can't remember which. I was approved in less than 1 week. I do have BC/BS PPO. I had absolutely no problems.
