DR. CORDOVA

I just went to a seminar by Dr. John Cordova. He was very informative. He gave me several suggestions as to how to deal with BCBS. The only drawback is he has only done about a dozen open rny surguries. Does anyone here know anything about him? He spent about 30 minutes with me after the seminar one on one and I was impressed but his few amount of surgeries he has done concerns me. Oh well, maybe he'll have done alot more before my ins. appoves me if they ever do.

Linda, I am not familiar with Dr. Cordova, but there is another surgeon that relocted his practice to Omaha, Dr. Gary Anthone. He is very skilled (over 1000) in doing the BPD/DS. I realize you are looking for the RNY, and he does that as well. If you are still in the investigational stage a call to his office might be something to think about.
