Anyone VBG?

Hi there. I am a VBG post-op (4-22-03 Open VBG) and I would love to talk with anyone from Nebraska who has had this same surgery. It seems everyone I read about is RNY (Don't get me wrong- I think the RNY is a great surgery too) but I would love to see if there are other VBG'rs who have had or are having some of the same issues I am having (wanting to overeat, getting stuck on sweets again, being basically a naughty eater). I am pleased with my surgery. I chose VBG because I suffer from nutritional problems and anemia so I couldn't do RNY because of that. Plus my dh and I want a baby and I didn't want to take from him or her the nutritional factors my little one will one day need in my womb. Since April I have lost appr. 100 pounds. (depending on the scale and day lately I'm aknockin. Any VBG'rs out there???? Linda K.
