Help! BCBS Blue Choice Members

I just found out today that I have been denied by BCBS.  I am so upset!  They said that I have not done doctor supervised weight loss.  My husband had the same surgery I asked for in March and he never had the doctor supervised weight loss.  Anybody have this issue?
