I have gone to the last two reunions and it is well worth the time to go.   Very motivational and educational.  Plus I won a massage at the first reunion.   I still remember that massage first one I ever had.

I have a question is this just for people that have had the surgery, or can it also be for those that are thinking of having it too.

The reunion is for all patients that have had WLS. It doesn't matter what procedure, what hospital, or what surgeon. It is an event for all of us to come together. If you have a surgery date scheduled and would like to participate, you are invited to register and attend as well. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact Shelly @ 402-219-7638. When is/was the reunion?  Is it just for lapband or for all kinds of wls?  Thanks, Alicia

Hi Alicia!  I went to their website.  It is on Saturday September 19th.  You have to register by the 11th.  There is a $25 cost due at the time of registration.  It looks like there are workshops throughout the day and that lunch is included.

It's tempting to me as it is right here in Lincoln.  I wonder if they would allow patient's from other surgeries/surgeons to attend.

I'll have to think about whether or not I want to go and then give them a call.
