Vertical sleeve gastrectomy

HI Friends;
Are any surgeons in Nebraska doing the vertical sleeve gastrectomy VSG weight loss surgery and has anyone there had good luck with it?  I live in california now but was a 50 year nebraska resident and am interested in the VSG.  There was always such fine medical care in Omaha. There are fine doctors here too but also some flakes.  Anyone there have an experience with VSG?  I sure wouldn't mind making a trip back to the heartland.     diane

Dr Brad Winterstien at Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha. I'm an admitting nursing in the ER there. I have only seen 1 patient of his be admitted with problems (nausea & dehydration). She wasn't drinking causing nausea (viscous cycle). I've know him since his residence. In the past I worked on an Oncology/Surgical floor and cared for his patients after surgery. He has been performing VSG for a little over 2 years. Over 700+ No leaks. I plan on having him preform my surgery in the fall. His office takes care of getting all the insurance stuff in order and helping you over come any obstacles.

Do you know if Dr Wintersine make the bougi the same size as Dr Anthone or  is bigger ?  and also do you know the price for self pays? thank in advance you can sand the prived  message if you wish  

Dr Anthone does not perform the sleeve. He only does the DS & RnY. They assist each other during surgery.  I believe it is either a 32 french or 34 french. I  can't remember. Self pay is 12, 500 and that includes 12 months coverage if anything goes wrong.
