Any Nebraskans have surgery in Mexico?

Just wondering if anyone has had WLS in Mexico.  If so, are there doctors here that will do follow-up care afterwards (like fills if lap band or cares for other surgery)?

Where are you located in Nebraska?  There is Dr. Holloway in Scottsbluff that will support the work of a dr who does WLS in Mexico.

Thanks for the info.  I'm actually in the Grand Island area.

I had planned to get a band in Mexico and the Scottsbluff surgeon's office will do fills, I asked them.

then I learned about VSG and had that instead. no fills.

I have never seen anyone post negative info about Mexico but I had a very posative experience and would highly recommend my surgeon and the hospital where he practices.

At one of the meetings in Kearney there was someone there that had her surgery in Mexico , I can't remember who was doing her fills.
I am also in the Grand Island area.

Hi. Just wanted to let you know I had lap RNY in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on 08/16/05 with Dr. Joya. I had a great experience. The hospital was VERY clean and they doctors and nurses were extremely caring. I was in the hospital 4 days and was supposed to be in the resort hotel for 10 more, but begged to go home early because I was lonely. The hotel was also AWESOME!

I just wanted to let you know a little about my experience since there are some people out there that say bad things about going to Mexico.
