I'm having surgery this Monday by Dr. Anthone!

I am so excited and wanted to give a shout out to all my Nebraska (and Iowa!) peeps!

Is anyone else here having surgery next week? If so, I hope your surgery and recovery are picture perfect!

This is Michelle Congratulations!! You will do great you have the best surgeon you could possibly have in my opinion Dr. A is the best. I had absolutely NO complications, I'll be waiting on the losers bench for you see you soon.

Thanks Michelle! He IS great. I'm struggling with eating and drinking, but I know it will get better each day.

WOO HOOO!  :)  I'm waiting on the losers bench for you too!  Dr. Anthone is awesome!  :)  (he didn't do my surgery, but has taken over my care from Dr. Sudan so I know him!)

Hi Felicia;

I'm doing pretty good; had another little setback. I took a fall about 2 weeks ago and ended up in the hospital for 10 days. I had a rageing infection and my heartrate fell to 35.So they ended up putting in a pacemaker in; I'm back home and feeling much better. Also I am walking more and more each day. Dr, A is going to do my DS the first week in July; so now I have another goal.

Keep up the good work; I'm sure each day will get a little better. Don't worry about the buyers remorse. I think everyone goes through that to some degree. In 6 months this will look like a speck in your rearview mirror. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks Mike! I'll keep you in my prayers as well! You have had such a rough 5 months!! My goodness! It is so amazing that you have such a positive attitude...I really admire you for that.
