Hair Loss---HELP!

I am loosing hair like crazy!  I am worried about getting bald.....   Could someone give me some advice????  I am almost 4 months out of surgery.  I began loosing  hair about a month ago.  It continues to get worse and worse.  I am just washing my hair every other day.  I have tried to go longer but my hair gets greasy! 

Is there any speical shampoo that I need to be using???  Any special conditioner???

I would really appreciate any advice that you can give me...............

Hi, I know how aggravating it is to lose hair. You can try Nioxin shampoo and conditioner. It is expensive but it lasts forever. Also taking biotin can help. I have heard good and bad with biotin.Make sure you are taking your vitamins daily. Your hair will come back but it will take awhile. Good luck. Mona

Thanks for the advice.  It has been really depressing to see all of my hair on the floor.  I mean it comes out by the hand fulls!!!  I have been taking the biotin since June...thank goodness.  Where should I look for the Nioxin shampoo???  Thanks again for your help!

I tried nioxin and it didn't help.  It was $45 for the starter kit.  I found out about a month ago I was only taking half of the amount of vitamins as I was supposed to take.  I doubled my vitamins and upped my protein intake and it seems to be helping (also I am very close to my 6month mark and they say you should start seeing less hair loss). 

I might just try to wait and see what happens within the next month and not invest in the Nioxin.  However, I am going to increase my protein intake and see if that help.  Thank you
