Dr. Sudan @ Creighton Moving to North Carolina

I went for my interview with Dr. Sudan to get the DS lap....& he's moving to North Carolina, to Duke University mid-August.  He's all booked up 'til his departure.  Has anyone had lap DS from Dr. Corrigan McBride @ NE Med Center?  I'm trying to decide whether to stay here or fly to North Carolina for the surgery.

Oh that makes me sick......I'm in my 6 month diet stage and was planning to have  Dr. Sudan for my surgeon.  Boy my best laid plans never seem to work out!!   

OMG    I am so disappointed that Dr. Sudan is leaving Creighton.  He did my lap band in Jan 2008 and I will miss him so much.  I don't know who I will go to for my fills now. Linda

Ok, that sucks.  I just talked to Rhonda today and she didn't even mention it.  Speechless. 

 Linda, Dr. Holloway will be glad to do your fills in Ogallala, he's my Dr. and he is from Scottsbluff. He is wonderful and I'm sure you will love him! He's done over 900 bands. I was one of his first 100 in 02. I will be coming with Mona when she comes to your meeting. Beth in NP

Hi Ijust had my lap band 7-17-2008 and Dr. sudan said he wouldm refer me to one of his forner residents who practice in lincoln when the time comes. just my two cents----gma-1948

This is kind of off of the subject about Dr. Sudan.
Last year in November (I think) there was a 1st annual weight loss reunion seminar/meeting.  Is there going to be one this year?  I really enjoyed and got some good tips last year.

I just called Dr. Sudan's office and found out that he is gone and Dr. Alene Wright has moved to Florida.  I had seen her also.  That only leaves Dr. Force and he is backed up to forever.  Dr. Wright had me in the 6 month pre-op diet phase.  I have been seeing my pcp and nut here in Hastings.  I am a medicare patient and only Omaha and Scottsbluff are approved.  Do you know ...can I go to Scottsbluff and will I have to start all over?  I'm just sick about this.--Cherilee

Cherilee, call Dr. Holloways office 1-308-632-2872 or Mona( his bariatric coordinator0 at 1-308-630-2249 and tell her I told you to call her. Like I said he does go to Ogalalla several times a month and he could see you there. Good luck,Beth
