Kearney Support Group

I am glad to hear you have a support group started in Kearney. I am the bariatric coordinator in Lincoln and would like to notify patients of your new group. Can you send me a time when you are meeting, so I can share with Kearney and GI folks? Hi Shelly, yes, that would be great, we will meet on the third Wednesday at 7pm in  the community room at Southview Village 1004 W. 11th St. Kearney Ne 68845. 11th St. is about 5 stop lights from the exit on I-80.  Then you turn left or west and go 8 blocks and turn left again into Southview.   How nice to find a lapband group meeting in Kearney. I am going to be moving to the  Kearney area at the end of the month.   Right now I live near Detroit  MI.  Cant wait to meet some new friends.   I'm won't be there this month  but should be settled in and looking forward to the August meeting.

Shelly, I forgot to tell you that the meeting in July will be the only one on the 4th Wed.  which will be July 23.  Then all others will be on the 3rd Wed. of the month.  Hope this is not to confusing.  Thanks again for your help.  Linda  Leader of Kearney group.

Linda, Thanks! We have a lot of pts from Kearney and surrounding area. If you would be kind enough to email me a schedule for the rest of the year. I will insert them in the post op packets and make them available to patients *****turn for follow up and lap-band fills. Cudos to you for taking the lead on this. If you ever want a guest speaker to do a lesson, I would be glad to come out and do a WLS related topic. Kearney is my old stomping grounds!
