Hip problems

I haven't posted for awhile.  I had a total hip replacement done Dec. 17th and thought everything was going great. Then I got a sinus infection and went to the Dr. right away but the infection traveled down to my incision site and cause major problems.  I ended up having two more surgeries on my hip.  I am home now on IV antiobiotics for the next 6-8 weeks. I don't think I will be able to make the next support meeting in Central City, I need to get my energy level back up (had 5 transusions becuase of this ) .   I will be checking here and hopefully posting while I am home. Barb, we will miss you at the support group, but you have to take care of yourself.  What did they do in the other two surgeries?  I will be praying for you and you will be in my thoughts.  Take care and I will contact you again.  Hazel

Jill, I think in a few days I will be up for a visit.  My energy level is pretty low right now, but I know it will get better.  I have to give myself IV's antibiotics three times a day.  I do get on the computer a couple times a day.

just let me know when is good for you. I'll be in G.I tomorrow. But if that's too soon..That's okay. Jill
