Merry Christmas Mona.  I hope you have a wonderful time with your family.  I work tweleve hours on Christmas day.  So I won't have much time for celebrating.  They kids are going to spend the day with their mom and grandpa.  Chuck is coming in to have dinner with me. So we will have some time together.

I do hope everyone had a great Christmas weekend.   I had too much going on that I didn't get much rest.   1.  Friday I was expecting a call or email from my mom but didn't get one until Saturday.  As it turns out she fell down all the steps but the top one on her deck.  She's not sure if she missed a step, slipped on ice, accidently stepped on a cat, or just can't walk.  She went to the ER and they didn't really say much other than took x-rays and gave pain meds.  She called her doctor today to get his opinion on the x-rays and he thinks she has a fracture in her back at T7.   2.  Then on Saturday I was meeting up with my mom's husband's friends (which was supposed to be what the email was about) to get presents that she was sending down from South Dakota to her for everyone.  Anyway there was an evelope missing that had a gift card for me, gift card for my finance, and $10 for some stocking stuffers for one of the boys.  I personally think that the friends are shady and think one of them took it.  I guess I have no way to prove that though.   3.  Then Christmas Day our kids got sleds from their aunt and went sledding at the school across the street.  The youngest at 8 went head first down the hill even though he was told not to and went head first into a snow bank and broke out a tooth, root and all.  Thankfully the tooth was in tact.  He wouldn't really let us touch anything and the dentist wouldn't call back.  His doctor told his to take him and the tooth to the ER.  I held his arms, Mike his legs, the nurse his head, while the doctor put the tooth back in while he was screaming and crying.  Hopefully the tooth stays in and goes back the way it should as it was an adult tooth.  Boy was that a job.   So needless to say I didn't get a very relaxing weekend.
