G.I. Surgeon~~~~~

What is the Bariatric Surgeons name in Grand Island??? Is he good.............?

Dr. Gering(sp).  He is with Surgery group of Grand Island.  908 North Howard Ste 105, Grand Island NE (north of St. Francis) 1-800-652-3754 or 308-384-7200.  He did my daughters surgery and several other people that I know and they have had good results.  He had 100 surgeries under his belt when my daughter had her's three yrs ago, so he has quite a few by now. 

Hazel,  when I was researching my surgery I called there and at that time they did not do the lapband.  Do you know if there is a change?  It would be about 1 1/2 hours closer for me to get my fills...ONE WAY!!!

Do you recommend Dr Gering??? Have you ever heard bad reports on this group?

I had Dr. Goering do my surgery almost 3 years ago. He  is EXCELLENT. #1 in my book. From the very begining he and his staff were wonderful. They did everything possible to help with ins and answered any and all questions I had.  The hospital staff were amazing also.  Dr. Goering has an entire bariatric program whi*****ludes a nutritionist. I cannot think of any drawbacks I had at all. If you want to contact me feel free. Rhonda
