Lap-Band Support in Western NE?

Just wondering if and where there were any support groups just for those with the Lap-Band? I would like to attend one if there is one in my area. And nothing against those who did RNY or DS but the surgeries and needs are very different and I need to be able to talk to and share experiences with those that have possibly gone through the same experiences as myself. I haven't had my surgery yet but I would really like to know who and where I can turn to when the going gets tough. I know of a few people from here where I live that have done the Lap-Band but as far as I know, there isn't a support group here. I could be wrong, though.

Hi, there are several support groups. In Scottsbluff the support group meets on tuesday Sept 18. There are also groups in North Platte, Alliance, Chadron and Imperial. Email me and I can help you get to a group near you. Mona
