WOW moment

HI everyone,  Well I had a WOW moment the other day.  I finally rode my horse for the first time in a year since before my surgery.  I had ridden my friends horse who is older and a lot shorter and slower than mine after my surgery and that went well.  Anyway I bought a new saddle because my old one was too big and put it on my gelding and got on my mounting block (because he is so tall) and got right up in the saddle without any struggling or hauling my old fat butt up there and being out of breath by the time I got in the saddle or needing someone to boost my butt up even with the mounting block.  I got up 1-2-3 just like a normal person and it made me so happy I started to cry. Then we rode for about an hour and my horse Dunny was happy as can be.  He used to get grumpy and grind his teeth and kind of grunt a lot.  (who could blame him since I weighed almost a 1/4 of his weight) It felt so good to be back on him again and we had a great ride.  Even dismounting was easy and normal!  My friends were so happy and so was I that I cried again!! (what a wuss)  After 155lbs gone I feel so wonderful.  I am an avid horseperson and have lots of energy to do stuff with them again.  I just had to share this moment.  ALso going back east to visit my family next month who haven't seen me since Dec.  Lost 55lbs since then so I just can't wait.  Will try for the NP mtg in Aug. been too busy doing ranch stuff lately to go.  L
