Need infor. Insurance, Please help

Hello. I live in Nebraska and am interested in WLS. Im scared, but need to do something drastic. I am severly obese. How hard is it to get approved. Insurance wise? Please help.

Hello again- What insurance company do you have??  You previously told me that they do cover it so I would say start making appointments  with Dr's and make it happen!! You will need to go to a seminar with the surgeon you want. Be sure to go to a reputable surgeon. Do your homework and talk to people to see who they would recommend. What part of Ne are you in?? It seems you can go to Scottsbluff & Omaha are the only two I would suggest. In Omaha there is Dr. Thomas White ( I am going to him), Dr. Anthone, Dr. Rajan Sudan. There is a Dr. Halloway in Scottsbluff that I have heard good things about also. Once you go to one of the seminars, they will tell you what they require. Hi, call your insurance company and ask if they pay for wls. Then ask what criteria you need to qualify for surgery. If you would email me I can give you more information. Talk to you soon. Mona
