I got my approval!!!!!!!!!!!!
So excited, I just got off the phone with my insurance company and I have my approval! I have so many things running through my mind now that I need to see to. I guess the first thing is to get the dates of support groups that I can attend so that I can have them done. Where all in Neb do we have support meetings? I know you just had one in North Platte the other night, so I guess I am going to have to wait for the next one there. Is there one in any other towns? I literally have millions of things going through my mind right now, not to mention emotions. I can not believe I got the go ahead, I was denied 2 yrs ago so I guess in the back of your mind you still have the nagging doubts about the insurance company giving approval. Well anyway I have to go for now, hope to hear from you all soon.

Cindy, you may email me at [email protected] or call my cell which is 308-539-5712. Have you got a date yet?? And where are you?? I may be able to help you.....Later and Lighter, Beth in NP
I am in Wauneta. I don't have a date yet I have to get them my deposit before they give you a date. I am hoping for early to mid May. I do have my phyc eval done so that is one step out of the way. I am so excited, I can hardly wait to begin this new chapter. It still has that unreal quality to it yet
Thanks so much everyone, I am still floating in that cloud somewhere between disbelief and surprise! Jimmy I would love to have the name and number of the Imperial support group.
My next question is:
What kind of time off should I expect to take from work? From heavy lifting, heavy cleaning, etc.... why I ask is hubbys 40th class reunion is May 26th, and we are hosting the noon meal here at our farm and I do not want to be getting over major surgery right before we start the major painting and cleaning projects that come with that kind of event.
Hi Donna
I work in a nursing home but we get our insurance through my hubby, we have BC/BS of Iowa. He works for Frenchman Valley Coop, he runs the liquid fertilizer blend plant in Imperial. The nursing home where I work has BC/BS of Nebraska and they do not cover the surgery( I think this is from Vetters who own the home not the insurance company)
