Psychologist

Hello everyone, I see on the message board that there are a few Nebraskans from the North Platte area, I am not too far from there. I am wanting to have a wls, just need to find the money. I see that some Dr.s require that you get a letter from a psychologist saying that u are not really nuts. Did any NP people one in the area? I would like to find a psychologist that is familar with wls so I dont have to educate them. Thank you very much for any information. Melissa

She is good. where are you located? we meet the firs tuesday and you are more than welcolm to join us. Mona, I currently have an appointment with Dr. Jones but I was wondering if there were any drs that did the testing in Kearney or Broken Bow which is close to where I live? Also, how long does it take for the response from the test to get to your clinc? Ans still another question, how far ahead are they scheduling right now? I have the permission from my insurance company and have an appt the 27th with Dr. Jones. I'm trying to do some planning for work. I am excited that it is getting closer!! Jeannie

Hi Jeannie, as long as your evaluation is done by a psychiatrist or psychologist that would be fine. I bet you could find one in Kearney. Good luck. Mona
