New Years Resolutions?
Mona, This past year has been amazing in weight loss, and now I know that I have to make exercising a priority as well. I can not believe that I have been able to lose so much since Jan. 17th., as my one year anniversary comes up, I am so thankful to Dr. Anthone for helping me get back to the size I was 35 years ago. Never once did I think that was possible, I don't want to take that for granted. God has blessed us with a second chance at better health and we need to be smart enough to maintain that. I would also like to stay right where I am at with my weight.
I also LOVE spending time with my daughters and granddaughters (and my husband too!) Happy New Years to all. Joyce L.
Hello Ms. Mona

New Year's resolutions huh? Well this year I'm going to try to maintain or gain only a small amount while pregnant. After this baby comes I'm hoping to get closer to my goal weight. I have about 32 pounds to go until I'm there. So I'd like to get atleast half way there. So as soon as July comes I'm hittin it hard. I'm also going to try and excercise more. I slacked during the 1st trimester. Just too tired. So I'm back to the gym next week!!!
Happy New Year!!

Hi
I live in Wyoming and had my Surgery in Scottsbluff. Sorry I am going to butt in as you are closer than anyone else. My Resolutions would be to visit my Mom more, she is 89. To find a councelor or someone to help me with my revenge eating. Something bugs me I eat 'slippy stuff". Don't tell Dr. H. And finally learn not to react to people that push my buttons which lead to the revenge eating. Thanks for listening!!Marilyn
My goals for 2007 are to get started on a exercise program and stick to it on a regular basis and not just hit and miss. Goal number two is to drop another 10 pounds. That will put me a smidge below my goal, but it also means that I will not volley over two or three pounds above my goal. I certainly hope that you all have a wonderful 2007.

hi...
I am new to this forum but have a sister who told me about it. She is one year post-op and doing well. My new years resolution is to make this year the one I become as healthy and fit as possible. I am doing it for myself but also in memory of my son who passed away unexpectedly a year ago at christmas time. 2006 was a very difficult year but I need to move on and improve my own health so can not let my son's death overtake my life. I want to live a fuller life. I weigh over 300 lbs and am seriously thinking of gastric bypass because everything I have ever done was not permanent weight loss for me. I have lost and gained 100 lbs and more than once. Will keep coming here for info and support so that 2007 is a much better year. Would appreciate and listen to any and all feedback....thanks SKH
