anyone here in Nebraska???

Well here it is already Sunday, where does the time go ??? We went to a auction yeaterday, I love to go to them even if I cratch my head and buy something It was our night for cards so I made calzone for dinner and a chocolate mousse for desert. I didnt eat diddly **** as my band is really tight!! Just the way I like it! I have lost 6 pounds since my recalabration on Monday. Feel so much better about muself, I just hate it when I gain a few pounds! I hope to get down to about 125ish so I have some weight to play with well better go a I need to do another load of laundry before we go to an outside American Indian wedding. The chief is even going to preform the ceramony, should really be interesting ! Hugs, Beth

Hi Beth, I went to the Oktoberfest in Sidney. I had a great time buying crafts. Today I stayed home and cleaned house. I plan on getting my band calibrated soon. Hope every body had a good weekend. Mona

Nope, everyone left Nebraska for warmer weather *L* I had a great weekend although I did not accomplish much. Ran into some people that I have not seen in several months and got some wonderful feedback. I love feeling better but I really love hearing how I am looking! Wish there were more people that posted here from Nebraska. Would be fun to hear from lots of others. I did go to the Scottsbluff support group meeting last Tuesday and it was GREAT. Thanks Mona for getting us top notch speakers. It was the first meeting my husband attended and he was really impressed with the weight loss of many and how long they have kept it off. He also talked about the fact that many dont have to take meds anymore. I am fortunate to not be on many meds but it sure made an impression with my husband!!! I am really looking forward to the clothing exchange on the 17th. I have a huge amount I am bringing and hope that someone can use them. Have a GREAT week everyone!!

Mona, I am now on 2x weekly infusions for 4 weeks, then a blood recheck for blood cell count at the end of November. Apparently I am not keeping up, had a colonoscopy and that was clear. Is this common for 4 year post - op bypass patients? I just wondered if it was more related to the wls or my single kidney... hopefully this will work, as the oral Iron did not. My body temp now sits at 95.6, needless to say I am freezing all the time. Hopefully a hot flash will take care of some of that. Ha! Betty in NP

We went on a great Motorcyle ride today about 2 hours to a benefit for a downed rider who hit a tree and broke every bone in his body sans a rib and 2 fingers,He has been in an induced coma since August. They announced he is starting to come out of it and doing much better.Nothing short of a miracle. Tonight was dinner at church. And Jimmy is right Fall is here. I was wearing leather chaps, a heavy leather coat with vest over it and gloves and it was darn chilly coming home after dark. Jeanb

Well got out the atlas and I did find Nebraska and even found North Platte and since that where I live at I must live in Nebraska. Since I know you and we live only a couple of blocks from each other you must live in Nebraska to. Well I had a good weekend. Well now it is Monday morning and every thing is going good.
