Holiday Eating

Hi Everyone, I know you may think it is too early to think about the holidays. They will be here before you know it. It is time to start thinking of strategies to deal with all the holiday eating. Watch the goodies filled with cheese and creamy fillings. They are loaded with fat and calories. You can always call the hostess of the event and ask what she plans on serving. Offer to bring a "band or bypass friendly" dish if nothing on her menu is a good choice for you. Eat off of a small plate. Keep busy by visiting with the guests or offer to help the hostess. When making fruit pies, omit the bottom crust and it saves you calories and fat. There are loads of recipes that are sugar free and taste great. I hope this will help you during the holiday season. Lastly, the holidays is a wonderful event to get together with family and friends and being grateful for all of God's blessings. Have a great holiday season. Mona

Yes thee ole dreaded holiday eating is just around the corner. That is when we need all of each other support and espically the support from our head telling our stomach we aren't that hungry. But I know we all will have a good journey through the hoilday season. Maybe we can have a recipe day in the future on this board everyone who wants to could post a recipe. Just a thought. Well time to go build America (railroad saying****il later jimmy
