Medicaid Question

Has anyone had surgery thru Medicaid? Did it require a 6 month supervised diet? My mother had it done and she didn't have to have one 2-3 years ago, Is this something new? My surgeons off ice says yes, but Gary Viscio says No, he hasn't ever heard of that???? Please reply......

Hi Sheila, I'm having my surgery thru medicaid also. They did require a 6 month supervised diet, as for it being something new, I couldn't tell you. On the bright side tho..... once all the testing and psych eval ( that took for ever to get sent in ) were sent in ..... it only took a few weeks to get approved Hope that helps !!
