Omaha Support Group

Hi Everyone, A friend of mine moved to Omaha. She is a lap band patient and is looking for a support group. Does anyone know of one that I could pass along? Thanks for the info. Mona

Mona, There's a monthly support group at Creighton hospital...offered through Dr. Sudan's Bariatric Program. I think anyone can attend. Dee

Does she know what doctor she is going to have following her? It seems every hospital here has their own support group. Last night at our support group I mentioned how nice it would be to get together with other groups. I was given a realy pained look from our leader ( the doctors wife, awesome gal) I don't know why it is so taboo. Jeanb
