BACK TO CIVILIZATION!
Hello nebraskans,
it has been so long since I've talked with you. Our family went camping for a month. Nebraska is so beautiful, some times I forget what we've got. I managed to find food and drinks that worked well with the great outdoors. No troubles on the road, however last Thursday when we got home I was getting up from my recliner my feet slid apart and I ended up doing the spilts sideways. Great my legs just aren't as strong as they use to be, I just couldn't get up. I was hurting somewhere in my hip area and my thigh. I had to call 911. Thank goodness I just tore my hamstring(msp) and the area around my knee. No broken bones. They sent me home with a walker, a walker! So now I really feel hobbled. The inside of my thigh is turning really black and blue. Listen to this when I was in the er the dr tried to give me vicaden and motrin. Now I told him of my RNY surgery and that I was told not to take any ibuprofen or aspirin. He looked at me and said if you want to feel better you'll take it. Well I was in a great deal of pain but not enough to have up set my journey! So I've made it though I'am using a cane not as fast as I was but at least I'am mobile. I do have some good news while at the er they weighed me 354lbs that a loss of 107lbs!!!!!!
So how do I get to be on the century club?
Thank you for letting me vent.
Take care everyone
