how to post pic on the one i post

help i am trying to ut pic on my post but all i did was get the ierd looking thing dont even know how i did that lol help Bette

Some how you've deleted the photo (avatar) from the database. Were you trying to upload a new one? Please read my reply below this one on how to post an avatar - tips and suggestions. Best regards, ~Tooter

Hi - I did notice you have a photo problem on your profile and have sent that to IT to be fixed. Probably next week before they can get to it. As to the avatar (posting photo) there isn't one uploaded to your account at this time. You need to go to the main messageboard located here: http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/amos/ and then in the upper left corner is a blue shaded box that should say Welcome (your name) and under that a link that says User Settings. Click on user settings. On the page that it takes you to, you should see a browse and upload button. You can use the browse button to look for a photo on your computer and then upload that image. Or you can use the alternate button to seek for one on the internet (a webpage where it's hosted). Now, do keep in mind that photos that appear as avatars (messageboard photos) cannot be larger than 100 pixels by 100 pixels in size and no more than 20k. Once you have uploaded your image and can see it in the photo preview box - go to the bottom and click the save button. If you've never had a photo posted before on Obesityhelp, your photo will only appear on the main messageboard. To have it appear on other boards, let me know and I'll go approve the photo so it shows up on them too. However, if you need additional help posting your photos, the volunteer photo team is available to assist you - email your photos [email protected] and include your member name, ID and email and the purpose of the email. You should get an auto reply shortly after sending it in and it could take 3 or 4 weeks for them to post your photos as members are assisted in the order received.
