Hi there. I'm new here and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Shannon. I live in Bellevue, Ne with my husband and 5 awesome kids. I had my surgery on the 20th and came home on the 21st (the nurse that released me thinks I may have set a hospital record, lol). I'm doing really well so far, I guess. I don't have much of an appetite and all of the protein drinks are really sweet and they're starting to gag me. Ick. I'm working on my water intake and I am INCREDIBLY tired. Is it normal to be this tired? My soreness is easing with each day, but I sure can't get rid of the sleepies. My surgery was a laproscopic roux-en-y. I think I'm doing pretty well so far and I am really excited to see the results. :) Shannon

Hi Shannon, welcome to the group. Congratulations on your surgery. You will feel pooped for awhile. You need to rest to heal. Keep up the good work. Let us know how you are doing. Mona
