first md visit

Hi everyone, well I had my 1 week post op visit and I lost 18lbs!!!!!!!!I think I am in shock!! Dr. Goering was very happy with the results and told me that I was not to overdue the activities which I had this weekend and boy was I in pain. But he removed all staples and that darn drain, woke up this morning and feel so much better. Hardly any pain at all. Just having a little bit of diarreah, don't know why. I had chicken salad last night and sugar free pudding? added some protein power. Did take some pain killer last night before bed, that could be it according the side effects. Would it be bad idea to take some Immodium? Anyway, I am pretty excited. used to take me a month to lose that much!! will try to make the np support group next month. later, laura

Hi Laura, I am happy to hear you are doing well. Sometimes people can get diarrhea from milk. If the diarrhea is a problem take a half a dose. Be careful because you could go the other way. Keep up the good work. Mona
