I HAVE A DATE

I'm approved and scheduled. 6/6/06 - and no, the date doesn't "scare" me at all!!! Now - this 2 week pre-op diet - well that scares me! Janet

I had a VBG in 1992 in IA City. I developed a bleeding ulcer shortly after and the band had to be removed. That means this will be an open procedure and a revision, taking me to almost like a RNY. I understand he will actually remove part of my stomach. I'm charged & ready to go! My first procedure was open with a lot of complications, but I remember that wonderful feeling of being "full." good luck! I hope everything goes well. I kinda 'cheated' on my preop diet. They said 2 'slimfast' meals and one meal of meat and veggies... but I had yogurt for some of my slimfast meals and it seemed to work OK Keep us posted. Sally
