Double checked my date book, I had/have it down for Wenesday 17th @ 630. Thinks the drugs have assisted Steph in confusion LOL

Kelby,
First off congrats on taking the next steps you need to. You shall have a successful life if you follow the rules and guidelines. Each program is different so you might run into conflicting information, use what works for you and your program.

The best advice I can give you is to work hard and enjoy the journey. Hang on tight because it will be one hell of a ride. You will no longer be in charge, your pouch/tool will be the ruler, sometimes it is a good thing other times it will sucks. All in all you will do great.
Best of luck, look here for support and never be shy about asking questions or look for advice.

Usually if I don't know an answer someone else does and if all else fails, we make up an answer to fit LOL

Kind of pathetic that all we post is when we will be drinking.  I wonder, is it because we scare everyone away or is it just that there are so few in ND that use discussion boards.

Anyway, next week.

Nov 17Th (Wednesday)
630 pm
Starbucks (West Fargo)
13Th ave across from Wal*Mart

See you there!!

Hi Ashley,
I just ordered the Unjury starter kit so I'll let you know how it is.  I do like the Isopure products that GNC has.  One bottle of the ready-to-drink flavors has 40 grams of protein.

Kelby,  I wish you the best of success with your new tool.  It is not an easy road, but it has definitely been worth it for me. My best advice is to listen to your surgeon and to reach out to others that have had weight loss surgery.  The support groups have been so helpful to me and help to keep me on track using my tool appropriately.  Best of luck to you!

Welcome!!  Be prepared for a wild ride!  You nailed it when you said that surgery is only a tool.  It takes a lot of hard work and effort to be successful, but it is well worth it!!

Keep us posted, ask questions, use us for support.  We look forward to seeing you on the losers bench!!!

Hey All- (This is longer than expected it to be, sorry!)

I've been on OH for the past couple months, but thought I'd introduce myself to my fellow North Dakotan group.

I will be having VSG next week on 11/11 down in Bismarck at St A's... I started my journey of WLS about 3 years ago when I live in Fargo, but I ended up moving out to Minot where I am currently living and it sort of got pushed under the rug, but always was in my mind.

I have struggled with my weight my entire life. I kept saying that I could lose it all on my own. I've done the fad diets, taken weightloss drugs (over the counter and prescription), and other things. I've put on a lot of weight over the past few years and this past summer I finally decided enough is enough.. I am only 23 years old and I don't want to spend the rest of my life struggling with my weight. So I started the process again!!

I completely understand that WLS is not the magic answer to my weight, but it's definatley going to be a great tool that can aid me alot better than any pill could!!

I've asked for advice on other boards, but hearing from you all would be greatly appreciated as well!!

Looking forward to sharing my journey with everyone!
