Steve,

Hate to break the news before Kelly has a chance to, but coffee is tomorrow night (Thursday), not tonight (Wednesday).  Make sure you are taking your vitamins, so you don't have anymore Steve moments.

Kelby,

Next time you are coming down, we could get some of the WLS people that go out for coffee together and visit with you. We are going out to coffee Thursday night(Thank God for Quick Edit). There is usually about 4-6 of us that go for coffee.

They may be getting a storm in the East, but we live in the frozen north. At least we don't have to worry about mosquitos.

People have been posting things on the VSG board so I felt the need to come to the ND board and post something.

I suppose we could live in the East where they continue to get dumped with snow or where blizzards are happen now, but I'm SOO sick of the bitterly cold weather! This past weekend I went to Fargo to visit some friends. My drive from Minot to Fargo normally takes me 4 hours... I tend to speed just a  little... but the roads were crappy on the way there from Minot to Devils Lake. Yesterday on my way home... it was bad roads from Grand Forks to Minot!!

I need to figure out a way to speak with mother nature personally and tell her, "ENOUGH with the cold and the wind!!" I've had it!!! Since surgery I get cold a LOT easier and this weather isn't helping. Part of me wishes I had that 69 lbs of "warmth" back on me... but I'll suck it up and just wear more layers!!!

Hope you all keep warm... "supposedly" we have slightly warmer temps coming!!!

It is not uncommon to have this happen.  Your body needs time to adjust.  What Steph said is good advice though.  Also, if you change up your routines a little, different exercises, different foods, it can help break loose your plateau.

Just keep what you are doing.  It is like a marathon, not a sprint, one foot in front of the other.  You will get there.  Good Luck!!!

Are you exercising? Do you do a food journal? I know the food journals help me take a close look at things.

Topic: plateau please help
Hello all,
I have hit a plateau.  I am about 4 months out and have lost 60lbs.  I would like to lose a total of 107lbs.  If you all have any suggestions that would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Ash
