Wow

It's just amazing.  I cant believe yesterday was 3 weeks.  I am in shock.  I knew the weight would come off but I really didnt know/believe/expect it to happen so fast.  Dec 28th when I started pre-op diet I was size 20 pants and now I am wearing 16's and people at work are commenting how baggy they are.  I knew I would have to buy new clothes but didnt think it would be this fast, thank goodness for resale shops!!

Food is going ok.  Have had 1 dumping incident and no throwing up.  Day 10 my tummy decided it doesnt tolerate milk, hopefully this is temporary.  Since then I have been struggling getting protein drinks down - not so good with water.  I've got lactaid milk, so not the same taste as milk.  Thank goodness I can still do yogurt and cottage cheese.  My taste buds have gone on strike and very few foods taste good.  Again hoping this is short lived.  Today had 1/3 of Taco Johns scrambler breakfast burrito (without tortilla) for breakfast and 1/3 for lunch, finally something that tasted good and no issues (happy dance!!).

Am feeling a bit tired these days, but that should improve as I'm able to get more protein and calories in right?  I need to start logging calories to see where I am.

No regrest, No buyers remorse!  Thrilled to be on the losers bench!

Thanks for reading my ramblings!!
Have an Awesome Evening all!

I also had BCBS.  I don't remember how long it was, but it was fairly quick.  Remember, policies may differ, so you will want to look at the benefits schedule on your policy to see what is covered and what is not.  Some employers elect not to have that as part of their coverage.

Call BCBS and they can help you if you are not sure.

Good Luck

I used BCBS of ND, and had my surgery in Park Rapids, MN. I had approval within a week.  Simple!

Good luck!
