hi: do any of you attend? I never have but thought I'd try to get my sorry self over there this month. Is it worthwhile? Anything I should know?

I looked online and see it is at Southpointe now, is that right??

thanks, Judi

Topic: Funny how when you ask a Q.............

Picture this if you will:

SO sitting on a folding chair in the middle of the bathroom.Waiting on me to start cutting his hair.

Now,those that know My SO,Have seen him etc... Knows that this will be a quick haircut because you can NOT cut what isn't there!

As I am clipping the cape around his neck I place my ever loving hands on his shoulders and say.... So, do you love me? He says " I love you very much" awwww moment LOL. I then ask But, are you in love with me? He pauses to make sure he says this the correct way.. " I love you very much" are his words...He must of felt the impending death rays of my eyes as he rephrases it to say " I am in love with you very much" LOL

So, I did give him a nice hair cut. I kept placing the clipper full of hair fragments on top of his head, I wanted to see just what he would of looked like with hair!! He would then waggle his head and down it would fall so I never did get the visual.

He told me with all the fooling around I was doing I must be starting to feel better. LoL maybe he is right, ya thunk? LOL

That does not sound fun! :(  I have read that Papaya Enzyme works wonders for stuck food..but have no experience with it..and hope to keep it that way.
Hope you feel better.

Hi Tink.....Loved reading this.  You sound so good.  Glad to hear you are healing each day and I'm sure the energy level will increase too.  Congratulations on the inches lost.
I can hardly wait for all this to happen to me.

Have a wonderful weekend.  We haven't received any of that snow predicted for western ND  yet. But who knows.............It's still early in the day!!

Just an up date of the times and trials of me LOL

I returned to work on Sept 29Th. It was to be a short work week due to a teachers in service day. I made it ALL four days!! I was very tired at the end of school but managed to make it home and take a nap.

Then the next week of school went ok, the kids are a very needy group this year. The student who would be rated as our lowest in class last year, is now the highest in class this year. This is a huge flip around.
That is what happens when you work in special education. Expect the UN-expected and except the best! Is my motto.

My health- Is ok, I am still not feeling that energy everyone talks about having. I get tired and need some naps.LOL. My eating comes and goes. Some days/meals I can eat 1/4 of a cup of food and another meal/day I can eat a cup.

My weight has been at a stand still almost a month now- kinda bummed out about that. I hear it is ok and soon the weight will just fall off. There is nothing I can do but wait and see.

I have in the last day started retaining water in my lower legs. This was a problem before surgery and I took the lowest dose of a water pill by Rx. I wonder if that will be a need again or even something I can be able to do.

I have a funny to share- On Friday morning while getting ready for work I wanted something to drink. I am so sick and tired of- water, crystal lite, propel, powerade zero.. I made myself a nice tall cup of tea with splenda. I know doc G said no caffeine for now when I had surgery-he didn't say for how long. Maybe he will toss me under the bus for this, who knows. Anyways, that cup of tea was GRAND! I was so happy, laughing, smiles and full of energy at work! Co-workers were giggling saying oh now we know what you would of been like in your drinking days- FUN! I was having a caffeine HIGH! I have never (that I remember) experienced this before. I always drank soda and then once I gave that up I went to coffee for about 2 yrs prior to surgery, so I always had a supply of caffeine in my blood system. I think back on Friday and have to chuckle I finally know what people were talking about all these yrs of having a buzz from soda, coffee etc.. I was one of them if even for just that morning LOL

I go back to Doc G on the 23rd for my follow up of 2ND surgery. I will then ask him if I can have coffee or tea and if it HAS to be decaf or can I have leaded LOL

I have done my measurements for the month and will post them on that blog but I will give you the total on this one-

(drum roll)

I have lost a total of 32.75 inches from neck to ankles.
Time to get my day moving- October fest at the mall, walking to do,things and crafts to look at and I am sure things to buy LOL

Take care

I had the band and the only thing i can say about drinking is be very careful...It was a few months after surgery when i had my first glass of wine and the alchol really hits you harder then before surgery...prior to surgery i could have 4 or 5 drinks and then i would get a little buzy (when buzzed my nose and lips start to go numb...wierd i know) and after surgery i have 1 glass of wine and my nose and lips go numb...I would agree with the previous poster and try a drink at home before you try it out...

Hiya Val...

I'm glad you got that move taken care of...I tell my DH that the next time we move i'm leaving everything in the house and buying everything new...The last time we moved the ended up having to go out of town the day after all the boxes got in the new place...guess who had to unpack everything and clean the old place...

Are you getting your fill in Minot...if you are i'm sure i'll see you at the meeting...I have noticed that this last month i haven't had much restriction either...I think i've been playing with the same 5 pounds...Hopefully Jackie will hook me up good so i can start loosing again...

Good luck with the new house and hope to see you next week...

Oh, I've had it before, trust me.  Just never to this extreme.  It was HORRIBLE.  Normally, it passes one way or the other, eventually.  This was going nowhere.
