Oct 16Th, The day my mother gave birth..yep to me.LOL
Sometimes her life would most likely had been easier had she not went that route LOL.
If nothing else I gave life some added zest and her lots of gray hairs.
Some of the things I have learned this far in life are:
If you try hard enough you can **** off a lot of people.
If you get up early in the morning you may be the first into the shower.
If I work my hardest I will still get the same amount of pay in my check.
If I act silly It makes others around me smile.
If I call a family member they always make time to talk, OK and vent LOL
If I put my shoes on the wrong feet, they will hurt!
I live in ND yes Snow will come every flippin yr.
If I spend time with friends it is quality time no matter what we do.
If I were to try out for the TV show "Are you smarter then a 5Th grader"- They would kick my butt! (Don/t mind the fact I work in a 6,7,8Th grade class daily)
If I didn't have all you in my life, I would be bored as hell and have no one to love!
Remember I said I would only list a FEW things I have learned.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day. I will as today (Thursday) I am celebrating my 47Th birthday!!!
Happy days to me!
Hugs

We talked last month and people wanted to exchange recipes in Oct.
So if you have a good one that is WLS friendly make a few copies and bring along. I am thinking there were about 30 of us in Sept.
Would be wonderful to see you there!

I try to attend every month. I did go in September, but missed one before that. The September one was someone from the eating disorders area, but more than that I enjoy the question and answer section that typically happens.
For me it is another way to keep me focused and hopefully behaving myself.
It is at Southpointe for now, but down the road it is moving back to the auditorium at the hospital. Maybe I will see you there.

To the world you are just one person, but to one person you are the world.
I am a band patient and the one I went to was more focused on the Gastric bypass so I quit going. If I had had the other surgery, I would have continued.
Good luck
Keep us up to date with your progress.
