Thanks for the well wishes. The towns have really pulled together and a lot of sand bagging has been done, there is still more to go. Then it is to pray that the sand bags hold or the river dries up! This will be my first official flood,not counting when lindenwood park floods out each spring LOL

Anyone else absolutely exhausted from this winter in general??  I know we think every year gets worse, but we went from rain, rain and more rain all of Oct., right to winter in Nov. to one of the coldest winters on record, not to mention record snowfall, and now floods???  I'm going crazy!  I just want to get outside!  It's freezing rain here with the possibility of another blizzard...my boys are driving me nuts stuck in the house....feels a LOT like 97!!  I guess atleast my surgery is done, but sunshine would go a long way right now!!!  Damn, we North Dakotans are some tough cookies!  Most places would be calling in FEMA by now just for the snow alone!

Thank you Becky but it seems to have missed us here in Williston.  We have very high winds here but no snow or rain.....that too could change quickly before we know it.
This has been quite the winter for everyone all over it seems.
I love North Dakota though as it is my birth state.  66 yrs ago.

Well, if I hadn't believed in miracles before I would have to now.  MeritCare called me back stating that since I had already been on Optifast for 6 weeks they felt it was important to continue with my surgery plans.  They felt that I would be in the best possible physical condition for the surgery right now and have decided to go ahead with the original plan for surgery on Thursday!  I am so grateful. 

I feel so bad for you. The emotional roller coaster on this journey sure takes a toll. Wow, 40 lbs is awesome! Hang in there!
