Kelly-
Thanks for posting this on this forum.  I posted it on the Fargo group, and couldn't remember how to get over here.  I realize that sounds STUPID, and it especially since I am currently posting!  ANYWHO........The meeting in April is go on as planned.  I just got an e-mail from the gal who is in charge of our website and she just updated the site today.  Not good enough, but I'm hoping it will get better in the near future.  It's quite frustrating!

I hope everybody is well!

Hey Kelly!

I hear ya, however, my face really isn't the only "skin" issue!  It seems it is everywhere!  I really need to get better with my fluids and I think that would help alot too!

For my face, I use AVON products.  I sell AVON, so am a bit biased!  You can sure check out the products at www.youravon.com/amyotto   .... there are different products for different skin types/ages.  I have a 50 year old friend (in fact, you would know here from her posters everywhere in the state of ND- She is Lady Luck!  You know, the lady in the red dress you see on tv and such)... she uses the Ultimate collection... she's gonna kill me if she finds out I just announced her age!  She doesn't look a day over 30 to be honest!  It is a bit of an initial investment, however, the products last a very long time.  Avon also has the "Solutions" line of products... kind of the same deal - skin type/age based, just at a more reasonable price.  I have not tried anything from this line, but do have a couple customers that order for their teenage kids!  Also, AVON offers a 100% money back guarantee, so if you don't like the product after using it, you can return the unused portion to me and get 100% of your money back!  Woo hoo!  I am also trying the "skin firming" body lotion and the stretch mark minimizer!  So far, no changes... still flying with the "bats" at night! LOL LOL

Hope this helps!

HECK YEAH!  But who cares!  It's a chance for FREEBIES!

Three lucky winners are surely going to hit it big!!  I am talking, wonderful protein jackpot!

Before I hit the rules, here is what three lucky winners will receive:

A case of Labrada On The Go Ready to Drinks, AND a case of Rock'N Roll bars!  OH MY GARSH!  I am so jealous!   All products will be sent directly to the winners from the Labrada company.

"Did she say a CASE of BOTH?"  Yes, she did!

Here is all you have to do:

from Sunday, April 5th at 12:01 am UNTIL Sunday, April 12th, 12:01 pm, every person who makes a comment on my website to any post, or sends me an email will be entered for the drawing.  You don't have to go into elaborate details of your surgery or life if you wish not to... (for you shy folks) but on Monday, April 13th, I will hold the drawing for 3 lucky winners.  Yes, 3 LUCKY WINNERS!  http://recoveringfatty.com

to be a working fact for you with your skin changes?

I guess my biggest issue so far, has been the changes in my face. It is the first thing I see in the morning and the last thing I see when going to bed. All the extra skin on my face!

Do people use extra make up to hide the wrinkles? Do you do extra facial exercises to try and snap that skin back into place? Do you not get bothered by it and just let life do whatever is its nature?

I make sure to put make up on daily. I do not use a foundation on my face. I only use eye shadow, mascara, eyebrow pencil, small light color of blush and some light lipstick. The rest I leave up to nature.

I have tried facial exercises, they are silly looking and I was not able to stay with them long enough to see any results. My skin is 47 years old, I don't expect much snap to it. Only a lot of crackle and pop. LOL

So what is your RX to healthy skin?

Steph,
Thanks. I am guessing it should hit around Easter. Everyone is still on guard. Waters are going down in many places (the over land run off waters). Things will get back to normal as the days trickle on. I have found many people are tired of sitting at home. Roads, stores etc.. as busy as heck! I even felt cart rage while in Wal*Mart and Cash-wise yesterday! LOL Thank the gods my youngest (23) son was with me, he seems to keep mom in line, however he made some comments about the people and pushy ones too!
Have a wonderful day!

Today they announced a second crest to come in about two weeks. They are saying the second crest could be up to 41 feet which is higher than the first!!!  I hope and pray that doesn't happen.

I'm SO excited for summer.  Last year I felt so OLD.  I can't say I feel like I'm in my 20's again, but being in my mid-30's it's nice to feel like my actual age instead of 15 years older.

I'm usually over posting on the VSG board, but I check here every now and then too.  I realize that everyone is busy so there's not much action over here but I too like to see how us North Dakotan's are doing.  At the very least, we can ***** about the weather and commiserate together!

This past month was definitely my slowest month for weight loss.... but when was the last time I could say that I actually maintained my weight over the winter?  Never.  So to keep losing during this time of year is kind of a big deal.  I will admit that my exercise program has been at a steady ZERO for the past 5 months or so... considering that, once the snow melts and I can get OUT and moving again, it should start to come off easier.  I'm actually looking forward to pushing the lawn mower around the yard--how goofy is that?

you're right about those "kick back" pounds.  I figure  I'm gonna work this tool to the maximum while I can because at some point I'm gonna quit smoking, and that always screws up any wl.  There's also the "plan" to have another baby here, gonna see if we can hold off on that until December but whatever happens is fine.  So I'm gonna give myself as much wiggle room as I can for those 2 eventualities.

As long as I never get above 165 again, that is my ultimate goal I think.  I feel good at this size.  Confident and comfortable in my own skin as they say.
