Welcome and congrats on wanting to make your life healthier.
I did not have Dr Smith as my insurance is different. However, I know a lot of people who have had him and on occasion his partner. Everyone really likes the Park Rapids doctors/group. You will be in good hands
While waiting, start making your lists of goals, things you want to get done at home prior to surgery etc.. that will take up some of your waiting time.

Robin,  I had Dr. Smith do my RNY on Oct. 22nd.  Dr. Smith and his staff were just wonderful and continue to be very supportive.  I hope everything goes smoothly for you.  Just let me know if you have any questions.  Tammi
