blue cross/blue shield of ND

i was wondering if anyone used bcbs of ND for there surgery and how long it took to get approved for gastric bypass

I used BCBS of ND, and had my surgery in Park Rapids, MN. I had approval within a week.  Simple!

I also had BCBS.  I don't remember how long it was, but it was fairly quick.  Remember, policies may differ, so you will want to look at the benefits schedule on your policy to see what is covered and what is not.  Some employers elect not to have that as part of their coverage.

Call BCBS and they can help you if you are not sure.

Took about a week for my approval too. Felt longer then that but according to documents it was a week LOL

Took ten long, grueling days, includes the weekend.  Seemed a lot longer.
