I'm coming to North Dakota for a visit

Actually - I'll be in the Jamestown,  Streeter areas from 6-25 thru 7-3 or 7-4 and would love to maybe find a group that is getting together during this time.

I grew up in Streeter and left there May of 1981 and moved to Oklahoma City with my mother when my parents seperated......

My mother has passed away back in 1996; however My DAD resides in Jamestown and  I will be spending most of my time there with the exception of maybe a day or 2 here and there in Streeter, Wishek,. Napoleon, Gackle areas

Okay - I'm rambling now................ANYTHING GOING ON IN THE JAMESTOWN AREA ?   MAYBE BISMARK IF NOTHING ELSE ?                DINNER GATHERING?       MAYBE THIS IS A TIME TO START UP SOMETHING.

I'm very active in the  Dallas- Ft Worth area  (TMB) on here in the Texas forums - RNY group...

Hopefully I'll have some internet capabilities up there cuz I'm taking my laptop with me......but who knows.   when I was a kid -  there wasn't ANYTHING in the way of technology in that area...

BTW   can you all get just a little warmer up there so I won't be freezin' to death while up there ? 

Have you all noticed that since surgery - you are always cold now ?  lol

Welcome back to ND!!  I am from Fargo and am not sure what is going on in that part of the state.  There are a few of us in the Fargo area that meet once in a while.  Also, Merit Care and Innovis have support groups that meet monthly.

Let us know if you are coming through Fargo, maybe we can get some of us together to visit.

I hope you enjoy your travels. Steve is correct that a few of us get together from time to time in the Fargo area. That is approx 90 miles (hr and half) away from Jamestown. If your planning on coming to the BIG town, let us know ahead and we will gather for some coffee at least! We love company and I bet you have an accent! and that gives you an extra 50 points!! LOL

Yeah - I've got the accent - but I've been told a little bit of the ND comes out sometimes too....
lol

I know that one of my friends lives in the Fargo/Moorehead area, so I don't know what plans we'll have once I get up there....right now - all I know is that Streeter H.S. is having a reuion on 6-26-10 all day that Saturday........but other than that  - I don't know of any other plans that we'll set up from that point...............but that may be an option....  I went onto mapsquest and saw that Jamestown  was only about 90 min or so from W. Fargo and well.............(that is NOTHING here in the DFW area) to get around....You can sit on the freeways here in Rush hour with 1 lane blocked and take up that much time  !!  lol     WE have breakfast groups that meet all over various times of the months -  every other week and I drive 45 miles one way to that breakfast 1x a month or so...........depends on my work schedule  - so our philosphy is that we'll do anything we want to do for "PEEPS" time....

I'll watch the site for updates between now and then and let you all know when I know..
