Any ND's on here?

Hello ND's ~ Would love to hear from you. Our state seems so quiet. Let's make some noise! I have an appointment with Dr. Bruderer on April 3rd. WOOOHOOO! My psych eval is this Thursday. Seems like it's all falling together. When I see other people's before & after shots, I can't imaine that I could actually look half that good. You all look so awesome! This all seems unreal. Hey Brenda, Yea we are the quiet bunch (ya der ya know) I wish we could have a support group or maybe you know of one where we could meet from time to time, as I do talk much faster than I can type, or maybe we can start one. Brian

Hi, I just found this forum today. I'm from Pelican Rapids, MN and I work in Fargo, ND. I had my RNY surgery on Jan 22, 2007 at Meritcare in Fargo. Before surgery I weighed 320 lbs. I am 269 as of this morning. Everything went well but I am experiencing trouble with a stricture at the anastomosis. I would like to hear from anyone who may also be experiencing this type of complication. Doug

Hi Brenda- I dont usually check out this board cause there isnt much activity. I had my surgery with Dr Howell in Fargo. He is wonderful! I have lost 95 out of the 100 I wanted to loose. I am considered a lightweight. But its all been good and I have absolutely no regrets. Good luck on your journey. Sue

Brenda- Yes, I live in Fargo, for now! Havent lived here all my life Depending on where you are on your journey, do what the drs and nuts say. They know best of all. Everyone on these boards has great opinions to offer, but it isnt always suitable for everyone. Start exercising. I didnt but am joinig a club next week. My butt is kinda jiggly!! LOL Take care- Sue
