This morning I headed out early to help a friend with some business. I came back home and did a bit of housekeeping and will head out again to run a few errands.

I think we'll probably grill tonight and make a lovely caprese salad for dinner. I love being able to enjoy beautiful salads and whatever comes off the grill.

I have a few plants I need to get into pots and may try to get that done this afternoon.

Hope everyone else is enjoying the day.

Hi Betty,

Try contacting Ann; here's a link to her profile. While she doesn't run them, she does attend some in the Greensboro area and might be able to give you the information you need. If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll hunt around and see if I can find someone else that can get you the information you need.

Wishing you all the best,

Barbara

Well, this is a bit late, sorry.  Not a lot planned for today.  Going to get my tour and free week set up at Curves today.  I won't start it until I get back from CA.  I went to Penny's the other day and tried on one of those Sundresses with the built it bra.  Well...... anyway, it was fun.

Anyone have a bedroom suite they are looking to replace or sell?  Preferable full or queen size.  Or, maybe a full size futon would do also.

So what are  you up to?

When and what time does the Greensboro group met? Who do I talk to about attending? I am 3 years out and have gained some weight back so I think I need a group. Thanks

i dont have an agenda right now other than making dinner LOL.

But my day went something like this...................

Wake up to my annoying alarm on my cellphone going off, trip over the cat and end up taking a nice swan dive into the laundry basket I had set in front of my dresser last night (GOOD THING THERE!!!), but if you have ever seen a person my size go flying.................., then it was breakfast and thn shower. Off to see the Surgeon and a few other people (NOT the surgeon they said I was going to end up seeing, this guy I saw today has a better track record (YAY!!!), so after that I had to run around going from here to there getting releases for my records to be faxed over to the clinic. PITA THERE. Then it was over to WOMACK to get my last smoking cessation class done. YAY smoke free officially now (I blew a 0ppm- which is the best you can blow- nonsmoker or smoker). Back here then up to get some movies for tonight, we ended up watching them since I was having a nasty heat related dizzy spell and could not go outside (I will be glad when that is gone, related to my size according to 5 diff docs). So yes busy day. I am amping myself up to begin this c25k that a friend of mine is doing for the hundredth time, she loves it and she coaches people through it too, so if i need her, i will just call her. Oh ladies avoid the p90x program, that thing will KILL you, you will wish you were dead after the first workout. I was told by my doc that she would NOT reccomend that program to anyone unless they were advanced with exercise stuff. So yea gunna save that one for a much later time. So yea that was my day.

And I figured I will stay in this forum for a bit until I actually have the surgery and then can answer questions from a postop view. LOL yes I am being a chickenfoot but the less BS and crap I get from people the less stress i will have.

Actually more than half way. I met with the surgeon today and about 4 other people. I MIGHT have to get  thyroid panel (unless my pcm did that back in March) and I have to do the Cardio test. Oh and the high protein low carb diet then the cabbage soup diet for a week before surgery. So yea more than half way.
it takes approximately 7 to 10 days for me to be approved for the surgery itself. Tri-Care is so weird in that.

Hi Don,

I used to attend the Durham group, but since the have started one in Raleigh that is just a couple of miles from my house, I normally attend that one. I won't be there this evening, but may try to get back up there one of these days.

Wishing you all the best,

I might do that.  We have only a few kitchen items to work with until we can get our stuff. When would be a good time for me to come?
