I'm baaaaack! It was an awesome wedding. We were facing a cold rainy wedding but prayed that God would open up the sky and let the blue of the sky show down. He came through perfectly! Only thing we didn't pray for is warmth, oops! So we ladies were standing there shivering. Oh well. Cynthia had her dream wedding and that's all that counts!!
Today, I am going to relax. I am not planning anything. Get over this jet lag is my goal.
Deb's right, this is something where you should get medical advice. I had a sharp pain in my left side as well and it was due to the healing associated with one of the trocar sites, but you should call and get some medical support/advice re: this issue.
Wishing you all the best,

Hi Phoenix,
I actually love the Beck Diet Solution book and workbook. I even have a support group that is called the Beck Group and is loosely formatted around it. I think the thing I like most about it, is that it forces me to look at things in a different way that actually support my desire to learn to think thin.
Congratulations!
BTW, you are welcome to come to any of the meetings I host, including the Beck Group. If you want information about the meetings, you can get it at www.meetup.com/nc-wls.

Hey Maggie,
Congratulations on crossing this major hurdle and welcome the Loser's Bench. How much pain/discomfort people feel really varies greatly. I'm glad that it's been a really manageable issue for you and that you didn't get the 'gas pains' that some get. I was more like you, my poor husband had horrid gas related pains in his shoulder.
Keep up the good work... walk, walk, walk and sip, sip, sip every hour that you are up.
Re: the weight gain during the hospital stay. This doesn't happen to everyone, but it's also not uncommon, so don't worry about. It is a result of fluid retention from all of the IV's and will dissipate soon.
Take care and I look forward to seeing less of you soon!

Head hunger is a constant battle. Try to find something to distract yourself when this happens. I found my worst head hunger was while I was on liquids only.
Good luck!
