Finishing shredding a bunch of OLD bills and junk we already paid.
Might give the cat a dry bath (thats always fun and she loves the smell of the powder)
And Nap
My surgery date is June 27th with Dr. Enochs. I have been looking foward to this day for a while. But the closer it gets I am getting a little worried. Also my wife and some other friends and Family have been trying to talk me out of haveing the surgery stating I don't need it. And that could lose the weight on my own. Do people relize how dishearting and unsupportive they are with comments like these. Yes I know things can go wrong, but I also know things can go right. I pray everyday that the Lord watches over me and help me with my decision.I just can not believe some people nerve when talking to me. They are telling me I don't need that junk and I can loose it on my own. It is all about what you eat and exercise. But what really gets my bioling is the ones saying this are just as much over weight as I am. I thinking if it is so darn easy why are you not on the cover of some of these fitness mags. Some people never surpise me. Everyone always has a story of someone who had problem after their gastric bypass, but know one eve remebers the ones who had no problems and their lives where truely changed. Sorry for the Rant. I feel better.
As my wife is now having second thoughts her self which don't it any easier on me. Now I am afraid if any thing goes wrong she will always blow it back in my face saying it is because of the stupid surgery you just had to have,
Looking forward to meeting you at support group this morning. Just trying to wake up and get going. (I am not a morning person! lol)
We got a new kitten last night so it's been interesting introducing him to the cats. We have 3 already-yes, I know I am bordering on crazy cat lady. At least we didn't let the lady at Safe Haven talk us into taking 2 with us!
Well I guess some of you do want this. Just wanted to see. Today I am going to try to get to the meetup in Raleigh. I am not the best navigator but hopefully my GPS won't get me lost. Anyway, I hope to meet a lot of you!!! I sure do need to get support. I apologize in advance if I start snotting up and blubbering. It's been a hard month. So, don't have a whole lot more planned.
What's up with you??
Oh, I too have had a hard time building my energy level up....I tried to do too much too soon, tore ligaments in my left knee......so now I am on crutches, and honestly this is worse than the surgery!
Keep on the good work, and happy losing, and God bless!!!!!
I am hosting a support group meeting tomorrow from 10 to 12noon at the American Cancer Society Conference center in north Raleigh. Anyone is able to attend. It doesn't matter if you have had surgery yet or not, or where you are having it. If you want information about the support group meeting, you can get the details at www.meetup.com/nc-wls.
I hope to see you there soon.
