My surgery will be Monday; August 29. Do not have a time yet, will not have that until my pre-op appt for the rest of my paperwork and all the prep stuff on August 24th. Will keep everyone updated.

Yes, I am late again.  I actually slept in today. WOW!  Today not much planned.  I will be reviewing what will happen tonight at group.  I hope we have a good turnout.  Went for a walk with hubby and dog yesterday.  Now covered with bites.  I prefer trails that are meant for walking on.

I thas been one nasty hot day today. I am NOT cooking tonight, I will be makign the DH sandwiches. He knows it too.

I was woke up this morning with my surgeons office calling to set up my last preop office appt for tomorrow morning at 915 am. YAY!! I will have a surgery date when I leave there tomorrow. WHEW it is finally setting in that this is real. I feel like throwing up, but I won't.

So I guess they have the EMHE house about finished here in Fayetteville. I just hope the people who are getting it appreciate it enough NOT to take out loans or mortgages that they may not be able to pay back. I truly hope they treasure it.

I have been on the phone all day with people who have been calling here because I posted my excitement on my FB. LOL never knew so many people cared- but still have NOT told my mother in law and I will NOT tell her until after the surgery. Reason being is she is a busy body who LOVES to broadcast things and then a lot of other people crawl out of the woodwork saying they do nto want me to do it because so and so died or so and so failed. So I am keeping quiet until after.

I am pleased to have found a local support group here in Albuquerque that meets twice a month. I get to connect with them the first time on Wednesday evening. I don't quite know what to expect since I was so lucky to have such good support in NC. I am hoping for good friendship and camaraderie. All of you Carolinians have a good day for me.

I just feel that I know what is right for me. I am not one to bash on other surgeries but when they go around telling people they are going to fail that is (excuse me here) BULL**** THat is sabotage in its crudest form. I do not want certain surgeries for MY own reasons, not because someone says this one is going to work and that one will fail. TO be hoinest I am not gunna want a surgery that MANY people out there are saying is FAIL proof because I for one will be one of the first people who calls them on it and tells them to go wipe their butts cuz they are full of it.
