Hi all,

Yawwwwwn, I guess my body has had enough of the air mattress.  I can't seem to get comfortable.  Today, another day in the house.  I started knitting a new hat last night.  Felt good to be keeping my hands busy.  Today, no real plans except more job hunting.  Applied for a few of them yesterday.

Our stuff supposedly is available to be picked up any time now, but now we can't afford it.  So frustrating.  Well, they say patience is golden.  Anyway, what are  you up too?

Are you open to working retail? Last year I worked a Christmas seasonal job at a Hallmark store from mid Sept to December. Now... I don't suggest working for Hallmark because the pay is very LOW but it was a job. If you are open to working a temp Christmas job Start Applying Now! I applied for that "Christmas" job in late August and started training Sept.! And the name of the game is Follow Up over and over! Good luck sweetie! I know how frustrating it is to look for work.

The best thing about TOM is losing all the WW at the end! I'm just 1 pound away from my first mini goal weight! Almost there!

Yesterday was so busy, I think I'm going to take it easy today! We got into some of the wild fire smoke yesterday in New Bern. I hope it stays down there! I just hate when we have it here. I feel like we are stuck in the house when it's smokey outside. That stuff can't be safe for my little one to breath.

Went to New Bern today for a kid's outing at the Tryon Palace and lunch at the Cow Cafe! So much fun!!! My little girl had a great time and the moms had fun as well!

Today I hit a all time low weight. Lost another pound, putting me down to 231. My goal is to get into the 220's. I can't wait for the day! I'm going to enjoy it and then set a new goal of 199 or 209. Taking it in smaller increments seems to help. I would love to be down to 199 before xmas, but not so sure if that is doable. I've got to look at the numbers. 30 pounds in 4 months?

Back to the gym this afternoon! Have a good night everyone!

At Duke they said blood work is usually done at the six month check up. They did my blood work at my three month check up since I was starting to monthly self inject B12, and because I was concerned about my thyroid medication.

I suggest you post this to the RNY forum. From what I read recently 2 months out is too soon to see any significant change in your levels  but do check with that forum.

Who does the blood work to see what your vitiman/mineral makeup. Is it your WLS doctor or your normal family doctor. just wanting to make sure my levels are ok. I am only 2 months out is this to soon? I have been having some light headedness when I stand up from a seated position, or Driving/riding in a car. I have checked by my sugar  and blood pressure levels and all seems to be ok. wondering if it is something I am not getting in I need.
