I received a list of doctors to see for the psyh evaul in Hickory. The one I choose did the testing in one day and it takes 3 - 3 1/2 hours.
This coming Friday I will meet for my surgeon for the first time? I will weigh in, meet with the nutritionist, etc. I'm having the surgery done through the hickory surgical team at Frye Medical Center in Hickory, NC.
Anyone want to share there meeting with their surgeon?
Anyone have surgery here? Am I reading this website correctly when it states that a $4000.00 copay has to be paid in advance? There is some information on the website that is out of date-I am hoping this is one of them. Looking forward to your responses.
Hey Koko10. I have not been on here in a long time like you as well (today was the 1st day I logged on in about 5 months), so I was having the same issues. To update your blog just click the 3 bars on the right hand side of the screen at the top then click the arrow by your user name, scroll down and click view profile and that will take you to your blog and then you can click add post on your blog page and update it. For the lightweight forum click the 3 bars again at the top right side of the page then click forums, you have to scroll all the way down and click see all then scroll all the way down to the weight loss related section and the Weight loss for lightweights froum is towards the bottom of that list in that section. I received a list of approved locations for my psych eval and called the closes office to schedule. I was told by the staff that the doctore there requires 8 hrs of testing and multiple visits before he will approve you for surgery because he doesn't agree with WLS while other offices only require one visit. Rather than calling everyone on the list I thought I'd check here to see who everyone else has used. I will be having my surgery in Hickory, NC. Places willing to travel for my psych eval would include Hickory, Morganton, Gastonia and Asheville.

Sorry I haven't been on for a while so I am clueless and need some help. i can't navigate the site at all. How do I get to my page to update my blog? How do I get to the lightweight forum? Anyone else having problems like this?

hey, congratulations for getting this far! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by Dr. Ranjan's work. If you have any questions please feel free to email me. I know I was full of questions when I first started. BTW, I'm now 2.5 years out and about to have a tummy tuck ot get rid of the flab. It is still hard to eat differently. I was obese for a reason and comfort food was why. Still, it is a great tool and motivator. I wish you all the best.
