Happy Monday everyone....
Good morning Angie
I had a great weekend. Saturday morning spent with my bride of 22 years having breakfast and then a walk around the Charlotte Farmer's Market. We finally broke down and bought something. A man from Cherryville had Angel Trumpet bushes for $12.00. That was a steal. I'd been looking at them for three weekends and Jimmie said to just go ahead. She knew I had been wanting it. It had about 12 buds on it and one was open this morning. It is the most beautiful large flower and very, very fragrant.
Sunday was spent in church. We have the most awesome worship experience at my church. It is unlike anything I've ever witnessed. Even with the rain it was awesome.
I spent some time with my guy friends yesterday afternoon and am now ready to begin the week again.
I hope everyone has a blessed week and enjoys this cool weather....it won't stay that way here.

My weekend was not so great. I woke up about 2 Sunday morning with an awful pain. It reminds me of my gall bladder attack I had back in August. Yesterday I spent the day pretty drugged up between pain killer and naseau medicine.
I'm waiting for my doctor's office to open so I can call and see what they want to do.
Maybe they should have removed it when they did my surgery! Who knows?

Happy Monday to all of you also. Saturday I got up early and did some domestic chores about the house, then I also went to the Charlotte Farmers Market, I was there from 11 til 12 I bought 2 cucumbers, 1 tomato, 1 bag of sno peas. And I looked at all the crafts and the plants. Then after that I went to the Mount Holly Festival and walked around there for about an hour, me and my little dog Angel. Then I went to the coffee house and had a sugar free skimmed decaf latte. yummmm.
Sunday was church, it was awesome, the power was out and it was Forest Pointe Church unplugged. It was great, and GOD turned the power on 1/2 way through the first service. Later I went to Big Lots down in Dixie Village and then Home to veg out.
Love to you all,
Rita

Saturday was awesome...a guy at work gave me his free passes to the Wachovia Championship and I took my Dad for his birthday...can't imagine a more perfect day to be on a golf course and I got to see all of my favorite players up close...a great day! Sunday I stayed at home all day for a change and did some chores I've been putting off...washed my purses and shoes. I also watched what I could of the final round of the tournament...overall was a really good weekend.
Lets see..... Saturday I worked in my beauty shop from 8-12 a.m. Afterwards I went shopping for everything I will need after surgery. My surgery is next Tuesday May 16. I got my vitamins and some protein shakes, sugar free jello & pudding, a few things for the hospital. A robe and PJ's. Sunday I was at church most of the day, like every Sunday. I go early 8:30a.m. for Praise and Worship practice, then Sunday School, and preaching..... we then go to my parents every Sunday for family lunch. I nap and play cards with my husband and kids and then back to church by 5:30 for Praise & Worship again and Sunday night services. I love my church!!!! That was my weekend..... Just waiting for next Tuesday so I can be on the losing side TOO. Can't Wait. EXCITED!!!!
Had a great weekend. My husband, daughter and I went to our place at Myrtle Beach. It was beautiful Saturday!! Sunday started raining early so we got home around 3:00. Spent the rest of Sunday cleaning and preparing for surgery tomorrow. I am so excited. Cannot believe it is finally here. Please pray for me and my family. Donna
